The East Liverpool-Calcutta Garden Club has selected the yard of Michael Nicholson and Charlie Milton of McCoy Avenue as Yard of the Month. The variety of gardens throughout their yard proved to show their creativity and knowledge of gardening style and design. The welcoming front yard were filled with a mixture of perennial and annuals giving it depth and color. Entering through a gateway, in the back yard, was a 130-foot garden (as pictured in the photo) filled with a variety of flowering trees, bushes and perennials. Beside their well groomed and decorated chicken coop, they boast a picturesque vegetable garden that leads to their lake and wooded area that they are currently restoring into a beautifully decorated forest with old trees and brush being replaced with new flowering trees and a gazebo.
