Ice Cream Social on Saturday
The Friends of Beaver Creek State Park are holding an ice cream social as part of the monthly Village Comes Alive from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday in Pioneer Village. The public is invited to come enjoy many flavors of homemade ice cream, watch grain being stone ground in Gaston’s Mill and tour the historic buildings which will be open and manned by the group’s volunteers.
Wellsville Village Yard Sale
Eyes on Wellsville is again sponsoring the Wellsville Village Yard Sale on Saturday, Aug. 1 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Permits are available now until July 31 for $3 and are available at Wellsville Village Hall or by contacting Kari Emler-Daniels 330-303-6394. You can also contact her through Facebook to pay by Venmo or Cash App. A rain date is set for Saturday, Aug. 8 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. There are limited spots at the bottom of state Route 45 under the underpass and beside the fire station. This event is a fundraiser to help Eyes on Wellsville continue to put events on for the children such as the Easter Egg Hunt, Trunk or Treat, Haunted Trail and Toy Drive. They are looking to add events.
