The Newell First Church of the Nazarene will host Vacation Bible School from June 8 to 12, with the final program day to be held on June 14. This year’s theme will be “Weird Animals” and all children from kindergarten through the eighth grade are welcome to participate. Each night will start at 6 p.m. and will end at 8:30 p.m., and the program on Sunday will start at 10:30 a.m. There will be songs, stories, food and many gifts. This year will include a drawing for several medium to large gifts for those who bring children who are visitors and those who attend every night (Monday through Friday). (Submitted photo)
