Camp Fire youth agency’s day camps at Camp Taoka, located on Echo Dell Road next to Beaver Creek State Park, are open to all youth and there is still time to register. Preregistration is required. Camps are June 15-18 for youth entering grades kindergarten through third grade ($125), July 13-16 for youth entering fourth through seventh grade ($135) and July 27-30 for youth entering second through fifth grade ($135). Financial aid is available. Activities include (depending on age) archery, swimming at Y, visiting wildlife center, kayaking, arts and crafts, STEM projects, learning about and visiting with some of “furry friends,” visiting the Pioneer Village and more.
