WLC Club

The WLC Club met on April 21 at the Living Well Church, with leader Mary Jarvis opening the meeting with the pledge and Connie Hissam leading group in prayer. Jarvis took roll call.

Gladys Buzzard was the best loser and she also wore the officers ribbon. Buzzard also had three weeks in a row weight loss. Nancy Hart won the dimes and Barb Tranter won the 50/50 drawing.

The nono was potato chips.

Diane Carnegie won the caterpillar award and also the chart drawing.

Donna Lee gave the treasurer’s report and Brenda Young read the minutes. Both were approved as read.

Tranter read a funny and then Jarvis closed the meeting wishing all a good week.

Choose to Lose Group

Choose To Lose Group met at Boyce Church on April 28 with leader Penny Perorazio presiding.

The meeting opened up with the pledge of allegiance followed by the CTLG roll call.

Pam Fouse gave the secretary report and Cassie Stephens gave the treasurer’s report. Both were approved as read.

Dottie Seevers was the CTLG biggest loser. Seevers also had 10 weight loss slips. Tammy Heddelston was the runner up.

Perorazio won the food journals, Stephens won the dimes that were held over and also Share The Blessing.

The no no’s are chocolate and bread.

Wanda Price was weight recorder; and Carolyn Hager, Pat Heacock, Seevers, Heddelston, Stephens and Fouse got to Put A Pig In The Pen.

Winners of the No Fibbing Contest are Stephens, Price, Jean Ferrebee, Hager and Fouse. New numbers were drawn for the following week #7.

Heddelston was the monthly biggest loser.

Perorazio shared information on four best and four worst fruits.

Perorazio closed the meeting with prayer requests followed by the Lord’s prayer. New and former members are always welcome. For information call 330-383-8217.

Tops 1341

Tops 1341 met at the Glenmoor Presbyterian church on Monday, April 27, with Mary Gailey, facilitator, presiding. Marlene Reynolds was best loser and Cheryl Myers was runner up. They chose ice cream and cookies as the junk food for the upcoming week.

The drawing winners were 50/50, Cassie Ensinger; food chart, Dorothy Garn; weight loss, Darla Varney; junk food, Gailey; and jackpot, Reynolds.

Cindy Hays returned from vacation without a gain. Garn was in the attendance record for 16 weeks, and Gailey held the travel box for week two.

The agenda discussion included timelines for elections, member meeting responsibilities list, contest rules, and bylaw revisions, as well as the summer fellowship luncheon. Garn read the Tops rules for election affirmation. Questions were answered regarding rules for Tops division winners. Kerry Schneider, Tops Advocate, will attend the May 4 meeting.

The meeting opened with pledges and closed with prayer concerns and the Lord’s Prayer.
