Madison Trinity Church Memorial Day celebration to feature divers

Madison Trinity Church (GPS: 13480 OH-45, Lisbon OH 44432) will host a Memorial Day celebration Saturday in honor of those who serve, including two local divers, guest speaker and veteran UCI/UFEF diver Dale Hammon and guest speaker recovery diver Nate Payne. The celebration begins with dinner from 4 to 6 p.m., special music by Cheyenne Chuck at 6 p.m. and service from 6:15 to 8 p.m.

The divers were instrumental in heading up the search and recovery mission resulting from the historic flash flood tearing through Kerrville and Hunt, Texas, on July 4, 2025, claiming the lives of 27 children and councilors at Camp Mystic. Not only did they head the mission but worked extensively with the governor’s office and were featured on NBC Nightly News, detailing the efforts of their mission to recover those that perished in this historic and catastrophic event. They will be sharing their testimonies along with footage of their incredible journey and how God orchestrated it all, from beginning to end.
