The Alpha Tau chapter (WV) of Alpha Delta Kappa, International Honorary Organization for Women Educators held its May meeting at the Swaney Memorial Library. President Michelle Lewis called the meeting to order.
The Thought for the Day from Walking In Grace was given by Chaplain Kathy Griffith. Roll call was taken by Secretary Amy Hannahs and minutes were approved as distributed. Treasurer Velda Icard gave the financial report and other committee reports were also given.
The scholarship recipient was announced along with the winner of the scholarship fundraising raffle.
A report on the WV State Convention was given by those who attended.
The next meeting will be the Executive Board meeting which will be held in June.
