Utica Shale academy events
SALINEVILLE – Utica Shale Academy has announced a series of upcoming events to be held at the Williams Building, 10 E. Main St. These events highlight the school’s continued commitment to career readiness and community engagement for students across the region.
Career Day will take place on April 9 and will feature several guest speakers. State Rep. Ron Ferguson will address students at 10:30 a.m., while Mark Lamoncha, president and CEO of Humtown, and Terry Loveland of B & B Energy will speak with student groups throughout the morning from 8:30 to 10:15 a.m. These sessions are designed to provide students with insight into career pathways and real-world workforce experiences.
In addition, Utica Shale Academy will host its Signing Day on April 16 at noon. The event will celebrate student achievements and future career commitments, with Matt Werner of Compco serving as a guest speaker.
These events reflect Utica Shale Academy’s mission to connect students with industry leaders and create meaningful opportunities that support workforce development and long-term success.
