Meet and Greet with Northern Panhandle Candidates on May 12 ballot
WEIRTON — The Hancock and Brooke County Democratic Executive Committees, along with Hancock and Brooke County Democratic Women, will be sponsoring a Meet and Greet with Northern Panhandle Candidates who are on the May 12 ballot.
The event will take place Saturday at the Millsop Community Center, 3420 Main St., Weirton. Doors open at 1:30 p.m.
The event will feature tables with literature from the surrounding community organizations with literature and information. A voter registration table will be set up for those who haven’t made their way to register. The final date to register is April 21.
Those who will be in attendance will include the following candidates: U.S. Senate: Rachel Fetty Anderson and Jeff Kessler; U.S. House District 2: Ace Parsi, Stephanie Tomana and Steven Wendelin; State Senate District 1: Shawn Fluharty; State House District 1: Quincy Wilson; State House District 2: Daniel J Day; State House District 3: Mike Robinson; Hancock County Commissioner: Brianne Bates; Brooke County Board of Education: Michael Talbert; Family Court Judge, Kanawha County: Judge Jim Douglas.
