Wellsville Care and Share Community Club Senior of the Month

The Wellsville Care and Share Community Club has chosen Megan Coleman as the Senior of the Month for December 2025. Megan is the daughter of Kristin and Ron Coleman of Wellsville.

A dedicated musician, Megan has spent five years in band, serving as band president during her senior year. Her musical accomplishments also include performing in the Kent State All-Star Concert Band, YSU Marching Band Day, Mount Union Marching Band Day, and Jam the Gym Pep Band. She spent one year in choir as well.

Megan has been a member of Science Club for three years and proudly serves as president this year. She is an advisory member of Student Council, treasurer of the Senior Class, vice president of National Honor Society, and an Honor Roll student for four consecutive years. Her involvement extends to four years in Thespians, three years in Varsity W, two years of Academic Challenge, and one year in Art Club. Her artistic talents earned her recognition with artwork displayed in both the Columbiana County Art Show and the Salem Art Show.

In addition to her academic and artistic achievements, Megan has shown true school spirit as a fall and winter cheerleader for four years, currently serving as co-captain. She also competed in track for two years. Her leadership, enthusiasm, and dedication led to her being crowned 2025 Prom Queen.

Megan’s volunteer efforts include assisting with the summer reading program at the library, participating in Science Club police cruiser car washes, and supporting young athletes through the Youth Cheer Clinic.

Megan plans to continue her academic journey at West Liberty University, where she will major in Zoo Science.
