EAST LIVERPOOL – East Liverpool City Schools recognizes Boy Scout Troop 2012 as part of this week’s Community Partner Spotlight for their participation in Scout Sunday at Long’s Run Trinity Presbyterian Church.
Scout Sunday is observed each year during the week of Feb. 8, commemorating the founding of the Boy Scouts of America in 1910. The annual tradition provides an opportunity for Scouts to reflect on their duty to God, demonstrate their commitment to service, and participate in worship alongside their families and community members.
Members of Troop 2012 took part in the special service at Long’s Run Trinity Presbyterian Church, representing the core values of scouting, including leadership, citizenship, and service to others. Their participation highlights the important role that organizations like Scouts play in developing character and responsibility in young people.
