Baked steak dinner

Yellow Creek Presbyterian Church will host a baked steak dinner from 4 to 6:30 p.m. March 11. The dinner consists of baked steak, mashed potatoes with gravy, cole slaw, green beans and dessert. Cost is $12 for adults and $6.50 for children. Sit down or carry out. For orders call 330-532-2000.

WLC Club meeting

The WLC Club met on Feb. 17 at the Living Well Church with leader Mary Jarvis opening the meeting with roll call and then Connie Hissam leading the group in prayer.

The best loser was Jarvis and she also wore the officers ribbon.

The nono for the week is bread. Brenda Young won the Challenge and Betty Pease won the 50/50 drawing.

You have to lose half a pound to get an egg to put in your basket. All members are encouraged to take part in the “Fill Your Basket” Contest. The winner of the weight loss contest and the best basket will receive a cash prize.

Young read the minutes and they were approved as read.

Jarvis closed the meeting wishing all a good week.
