Wellsville library seeking local artisans
The Wellsville Carnegie Public Library is issuing a vendor call to local artisans, small businesses and food trucks who would like to participate in the library's first Spring Vendor Show. The event, which takes places at the library, 115 9th St., Wellsville on April 24 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., is a fundraising event to raise funds for the Friends of the Library Group which provides funding for the library's adult and children's programming. Applications for vendors are being accepted through Feb. 27 and can be submitted online at https://forms.gle/rF8sMdV4xYKVR5Wk9. Christina Kimble, outreach coordinator, noted that the space is limited for the event and the library will be trying to not duplicate vendor types participating in the event.
Cooking club
Upper Ohio Valley Museum and Learning Center at the Lou Holtz Hall of Fame will host its first cooking club of the new year on Tuesday, Jan. 20 at 6 p.m. The theme for January is "Game Day Recipes." The event is open to everyone and there is not a charge. Bring a favorite game day dish to share. For information call the Hall of Fame at 330-386-5443.
