Lincoln Park Performing Arts Center in Midland continues its 2025-2026 Clearview Federal Credit Union Subscription Series Find Your Way! with The Importance of Being Earnest, presented in the BlackBox Theater for nine performances - Friday, Feb. 13 to Sunday, Feb. 15, and Thursday, Feb. 19 to Sunday, Feb. 22. Lisa Moore Smith at The WELL
Women are invited to The WELL for food, worship, and speaker Lisa Moore Smith from Grace City Church Jan. 29 at The Heights Church, 528 Grandview, East Liverpool. Food begins at 6 p.m.
East Liverpool trash collection
Trash will be collected from East Liverpool city residences on Monday, Jan. 19, as the refuse and recycling department employees are scheduled to work on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Residents whose trash is normally collected on Mondays are asked to have their trash set out at the curb for pick up as usual. Trash service on any of the city routes will not be affected by the national holiday.
WLC Club meeting
The WLC Club met on Jan. 6 at the Living Well Church, with leader Mary Jarvis opening the meeting with the pledge and then Mary Schmidt leading the group in prayer. Jarvis then proceeded with role call.
There was no weight loss reported since this is the first meeting of the year.
Peggy Imburgia won the 50/50 drawing and Barb Tranter gave a funny for the week.
Jarvis closed the meeting wishing all a good week.
Choose To Lose
Choose To Lose Group met at Boyce Church on Jan. 13 with leader Penny Perorazio presiding. The meeting opened up with the pledge of allegiance followed by the CTLG roll call.
Pam Fouse gave the secretary report and Cassie Stephens gave the treasure report.
Tassy Everett was the CTLG biggest loser.
Tassy won the food journals. Dimes were held over. JoAnn Beresford won the Share The Blessing. Pam Fouse had ten weight loss slips.
The no no's are bread.
Tammy Heddelston, Pat Heacock, Penny Perorazio, Tassy Everett, and Pam Fouse got to Put A Pig In The Pen.
Perorazio closed the meeting with Prayer requests followed by the Lord's prayer. New and former members are always welcome. For more information call 330-383-8217.
Tops 1341
Tops 1341 met at the Glenmoor Presbyterian church on Monday, Jan. 12, with Mary Gailey, facilitator, presiding. Darlene Naukem was best loser and Pat Allison was the runner up. They chose cake and fudge as the junk foods for the coming week.
The drawing winners were: food chart and jackpot, Naukem; 50/50 and junk food, Dorothy Garn; weight loss, Judy McComas. Losing three weeks in a row was Darla Varney. Chris Plunkett now holds the travel box.
Lydia Kraft opened a discussion on Treating and Recognizing Seasonal Affective Disorder, from the December 2025 Tops Magazine. The members shared their experiences and discussed suicide intervention, as related to SAD. Marlene Reynolds will present the program
The meeting opened with pledges and closed with the Lord's Prayer.
