Tops 1341

Tops 1341 met at the Glenmoor Presbyterian Church on Monday, Jan. 5, with Mary Gailey, facilitator, presiding. Dena White was best loser and Cassie Ensinger was runner up. They chose cookies and pie as the junk foods for the upcoming week.

The drawing winners were: 50/50, Ensinger; food chart, Dorothy Garn; weight loss, Cindy Hays; and junk food, Cheryl Myers.

Ensinger returned from vacation without a gain and was three times in the best losers book. Ensinger now holds the travel box.

The monthly best loser was Darlene Naukem, Myers was the runner up. Exercise winner Lydia Kraft and Naukem were the food chart monthly winner.

Gailey read the new 2026 rules as written, by the Tops Organization, to the members. A question and answer period followed. Kraft will present the program next week.

The meeting opened with pledges and closed with The Lord’s Prayer and prayer concerns.

Choose To Lose Group

Choose To Lose Group met at Boyce Church on Jan. 6 with leader Penny Perorazio presiding. The meeting opened up with the pledge of allegiance followed by the CTLG roll call.

Jean Ferrebee was the CTLG biggest loser.

Pat Heacock won the food journal, dimes held over, JoAnn Beresford won the Share The Blessing.

Penny Perorazio read an article by Joyce Meyers on Practice Fast Forgiveness.

Perorazio closed the meeting with prayer requests followed by the Lord’s Prayer. New and former members are always welcome.
