Covenant Presbyterian Church in Wellsville is once again serving as a drop off location for Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes. Operation Christmas Child (OCC), a project of Samaritan’s Purse, wants to show God’s love to children in need around the world by packing shoeboxes filled with toys, school supplies, and hygiene items. Each shoebox is a tangible expression of love, a tool for evangelism, and an opportunity for children to learn about and follow Christ. To receive one or more special shoeboxes or for any questions, call Robin at 330-383-0210 or Sam at 330-383-5313. Shoeboxes can be dropped off at the church at 401 18th St.: Wednesday, Oct. 29 noon to 2:30 p.m.; Friday, Oct. 31 4 to 7 p.m.; Thursday, Nov. 6 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. or any Sunday through the Nov. 9 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Robin and Sam will also make arrangements to pick up any shoeboxes at your convenience.
