WLC Club meeting
The WLC Club met on September 30 at the Living Well Church with leader Mary Jarvis opening the meeting with Connie Hissam leading the group in prayer and then Jarvis did roll call.
The best loser was Linda Seevers and Donna Lee wore the officer’s ribbon.
The challenge will be carried over and Betty Pease won the chart drawing. Brenda Young won the 50/50 drawing. The nono is potato chips.
Donna Lee gave the treasure’s report and Young read the minutes. Both were approved as read.
Linda Seevers said the contest is going well and only two more weeks to fill your flower vase.
Members will get measured next week. Also there will be a discussion about the Christmas Party .
Barb Tranter read a funny joke and then Jarvis closed the meeting wishing all a good week.
Choose To Lose Group
Choose To Lose Group met at Boyce Church on October 7 with leader Penny Perorazio presiding. The meeting opened up with the pledge of allegiance followed by the CTLG roll call.
Pam Fouse gave the secretary report and Cassie Stephens gave the treasure report. Both were approved as read.
Tammy Heddelston was the Pearl’s biggest loser, Jean Ferrebee was the Diamonds biggest loser, and Penny Perorazio was the officer biggest loser. Diamonds in leeway are Dottie Seevers and Jean Ferrebee. Dottie Seevers had three weeks weight loss.
The no no’s are no eating after 7 p.m. and pizza.
Pat Heacock won the food journal and Share The Blessing. Tassy Everett won the dimes.
The winner of the No Fibbing Contest is Wanda Price. New number were drawn for the following week.
Cassie Stephens shared an article on Climbing Flights Of Stairs.
Tammy Heddelston demonstrated The Use Of Tuning Forks.
Perorazio closed the meeting with prayer requests followed by the Lord’s Prayer. New and former members are always welcome. For more information call 330-383-8217.
CAA Trunk or Treat on tap
The Columbiana County Community Action Agency will hold its annual Trunk or Treat, Oct. 16, 5 to 7 p.m. at 7878 Lincole Place in Lisbon.
