Ramp closure

Starting today, the U.S. Route 30 eastbound ramp to state Route 7 south will close for work related to the ongoing 9th Street bridge replacement project. This closure will be in place for one week. Traffic will continue east on U.S. Route 30 to exit at Jackson Street to return to U.S. 30 east for state Route 7 south.

Trappers workshop

Guys and Dolls at MainStage Theater

Lincoln Park Performing Arts Center in Midland opens its 2025-2026 Clearview Federal Credit Union Subscription Series Find Your Way! with the comedy classic Guys and Dolls in the MainStage Theater. Remaining performances include tonight and Sunday, and Friday, Oct. 10 through Sunday, Oct. 12. Nature camp

The Wellsville Carnegie Library five-part Camp in a Box Nature Camp for students in kindergarten and above begins Oct. 7 at 4 p.m., and will run every Tuesday during October. Registration is required and can be done by calling the library 330-532-1523.

Harvest on the Bricks 5K

The Harvest on the Bricks 5K and Art Show will be held in downtown East Liverpool Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. at Fourth and Broadway. The event will feature rides, bounce houses, local artists and vendors, food trucks, a scarecrow making contest and more.

Breaking in the Bridges

Wampum Chapter, North Country Trail Association, will hold a Breaking in the Bridges hike at Beaver Creek State Park at 9 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 19. There are new bridges on the trail at Beaver Creek to break in. The group will hike from the parking area over the bridges to the park HQ on the North Country trail and return via the lower vondergreen trail. This hike is over varied terrain so wear sturdy shoes, bring a snack and water. And it is hunting season in the park so wear orange. Roughly 6 miles.
