ELCH to hold Drug Take Back Day
East Liverpool City Hospital will be having a National Prescription Drug Take Back Day on Oct. 25 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 425 West Street in East Liverpool. Those participating are asked to remain in your cars and hand off the unwanted medications to local law enforcement officers. No requests for identification will be asked. Medication may be kept in its original container or removed from the container. Please try to remove any personal identifying information from the label.
Oktoberfest set at Thompson Park
The 14th Annual East Liverpool Area Rotary Oktoberfest will be held on Saturday, Sept. 27 at Thompson Park in East Liverpool from noon to 8 p.m for a day filled with German food, beer/wine, craft vendors, kids activities, polka music and more. For more information or to sign up as a vendor, please contact eloktoberfest@gmail.com. The deadline to apply as a vendor is Sept. 20.
CAACC to hold Purse Bingo
The Community Action Council of Columbiana County will hold a Purse Bingo, Saturday Sept. 13 from 4-8 p.m. for a night of fun with 10 games and 10 opportunities to win a designer bag. The event will also feature a bonus game, door prizes, 50/50 and raffle baskets and more. Tickets are $35 each. Purchase six or more tickets to reserve a table/seats for your group. Due to limited availability, online ticket sales are being monitored through a short request form at.surveymonkey.com/r/6RHGMMZ. A limited cash or check payment will be taken at the CACC Administrative Office. Call 330-424-7221 to check availability before stopping in. Exact change is requested and checks are to be made payable to CAACC.
