Kent State University at East Liverpool annual nursing pinning ceremony

EAST LIVERPOOL -- Kent State University at East Liverpool held its annual nursing pinning ceremony May 8, during which 23 students were recognized for receiving degrees through the associate degree in nursing (ADN) program.

Additionally, six graduates were inducted into the Alpha Delta Nu Nursing Honor Society: Ciara Casto, Katelynn Exline, Mary Guappone, Shelby Householder, Janelle McConnell and Autumn Schafer.

Casto was recognized for receiving the ADN Academic Award for highest GPA; Rachel Steele received the ADN Service Award; Aleah Malleske received the Outstanding ADN Student Award; and Olivia Sheville received the Outstanding Clinical Practice Award.

The Student Nurses Association officers for the 2024-2025 academic year were Casto, Householder, Astoria Poteet and Lucille Suarez.
