Drug Take Back Day

East Liverpool City Hospital will be having a Prescription Drug Take Back Day on April 26. This will be conducted as a drive-through at the front entrance of the hospital. Expired or no longer needed over-the -counter or prescription medications (all forms: tablets, capsules, liquids, topical) will be taken.There is no need to remove the labels or empty the bottles. Medications will be separated by dose form and staff will dispose of anything that could contain patient-identifiers in special containers.

PN informational at CCCTC

An adult educuation practical nursing informational session is planned on April 22 at 10 a.m. at the Columbiana County Career and Technical Center Adult Education at 9364 state Route 45 in Lisbon. The CCCTC invites those interested in the program to attend the sessions where the CCCTC will cover important details about both full-time and part-time PN programs. Attending an information session is the first step in the enrollment process. Reservations are required by calling Marsha Henrich at 330-424-9562.

Lecture series continues

East Liverpool Area Community and Learning Center’s Lecture Series continues on April 15 at 7 p.m. Author and retired firefighter Gary Cornell will present “The Olde Mill Fire at Rock Springs Park — June 1915.” Snacks will be served at 6:30 p.m.

Wellsville Easter egg hunt

Eyes on Wellsville will present an Easter egg hunt Sunday at the Hammond Park Top Pavilion, 1200 Parkview Drive, Wellsville. Registration begins at 11 a.m. with the egg hunt at 1 p.m. The event will include egg hunting, games, prizes, 50/50 drawing, a concession stand and photos with the Easter Bunny.
