NEGLEY MAN’S TIMEPIECE COLLECTION
Jefferson Ogg of Negley, Ohio, a timekeeper enthusiast, currently has a collection of timepieces on display at the East Palestine Memorial Public Library. He is a collector of antiques, and after purchasing two boxes of watches, he started learning how to repair watches and clocks. These boxes of watches inspired him to begin studying various types of timepieces, and in the future, he plans to take classes to become a certified watchmaker. His collection includes pocket watches, railroad watches, wristwatches, an opera cane, and mantle clocks, and he continues to add to his collection.
