The Calcutta Lions Club has been fortunate to serve the local community and Beaver Local School District for over 40 years. The club awarded two seniors this year not only for their academic achievements, but their commitment and dedication to helping where there is a need. Presenting the $300 scholarships was Lion Dave Elliott, right, with Aliah Boso. Joshua Thornhill was the other recipient but not in attendance. (Submitted photo)
