Angels for Animals to host annual garage sale April 19-21; volunteers, donations sought

CANFIELD -- Angels for Animals will host its 30th annual garage sale April 19 through 21 at the Canfield Fairgrounds, featuring books, toys, small appliances, antiques, clothing, glassware, jewelry, furniture, linens, tools, outdoor items and more, as well as food, basket and 50/50 raffles.
Hours and admission cost are 9 a.m. to noon for early bird April 19 for $10 (buildings open at 9 a.m., wristbands on sale at 7 a.m.); noon to 5 p.m. April 19 for $3; 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 20 for $3; 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 21 for free, most items 50% off; 2:15 to 4 p.m. for $20, all you can take (wristband required until 4 p.m.). No pets, strollers, carts or wagons are permitted in the buildings during the sale.
The Garage Sale fills seven different buildings at the Canfield Fairgrounds: Men's Worlds, Furniture, Household Items, Books and .50 World, Clothing & Linens, Antiques and Uniques, Kids Korner and Pets Plus.
Concessions are available during the entire event. Several vendors have requested to join in efforts and can be found on the streets between buildings.
Donations are welcome from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 13 and 14 at the Canfield Fairgrounds. To drop off items, enter the main gate of the fairgrounds on state Route 46 and follow the signs; for large item pick up call Robin at 330-549-1111 Ext. 146; no TVs, computers, sofa beds, safes, luggage, encyclopedias, tires, Christmas trees, box springs or mattresses, cribs, carseats or entertainment centers.
