Marietta College
Marietta College's Jillian Strecansky, of Columbiana, recently shared her research during the Annual Research Conference of the Eastern Psychological Association in Philadephia, Pennsylvania. Strecansky, who is majoring in Master of Arts in Psychology, presented on "The stigma of Schizophrenia: Is mental illness like any other?" and "Diminishing stigma: Using a 'Living well with Schizophrenia'." Strecansky is a graduate of South Range High School.

Kerry Dombroski of Salem was among the 126 Northeast Ohio Medical University College of Medicine students to learn their medical residency match during a celebration for National Residency Match Day, held March 15 in the NEW Center Ballroom. Dombroski learned they will be serving a Medicine-Pediatrics residency at West Virginia University SOM in Morgantown, W.V a. Dombroski is currently a fourth-year medicine student at NEOMED, and will move on to their residency following graduation this spring. A Commencement celebration will be held Saturday, May 4, 2024.
