The Calcutta Rotary Club met Thursday at the Peter Metrovich Community Center. Lauren Piscitelli, daughter of Reesey Mackall and Peter Piscitelli, was announced as the Community Service Student of the Month. Lauren has amassed many hours of community service by volunteering her time at school events, clubs, and fundraisers. When asked why serving is important to her Lauren responded, "I want to give back to my community because this community has been so good to me." Beaver Local Schools Superintendent Eric Lowe introduced Piscitelli by saying she is a force for good in the school and someone who is always ready to lend a hand.
