Salineville council
Salineville Village Council will meet at 6 p.m. Dec. 28 at village hall. The special meeting will be held to address year-end fiscal matters and approve minutes. The regular meeting scheduled for Dec. 18 has been canceled. Council will meet at 6 p.m. Jan. 2 for reorganizational purposes. The regular business meeting will immediately follow the reorganizational meeting.
Good Shepherd Luncheon
Good Shepherd Luncheon at St. Stephen's Church on 4th Street will be having a holiday meal from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. Come to door on corner of alley. Door will open at 10:30. All are welcome.
Chester water outage
The Chester City Water Department has a planned water outage scheduled for 7 a.m. Thursday to replace a portion of water main off of Collins Memorial Drive. Estimated work time will be four to eight hours. A boil order will follow. Avoid the area during this time to allow room for the work to be completed.
