The Museum of Ceramics continues the Walker Music Series with a performance by Rick Gilbert at 6 p.m. Nov. 25. Gilbert is a Pennsylvania native and vocalist whose style is jazz, blues, and contemporary music. He has performed all over the tri-state area including Jackson's at the Beaver Valley Mall and the 1810 Tavern in Beaver. He is known for his smooth voice and touching renditions of old songs. The Walker Music Series is named for Bob Walker who, along with Susan Weaver, created the program for local musicians. The program began at Kent State and later moved to the museum. Formerly called Music @theMoC, it was renamed in early 2023 to honor Walker's contributions to the local music scene. The program is free of charge but donations are greatly appreciated.
