SALEM -- Dulci-More: Folk & Traditional Musicians will present a free Performance Song Circle from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday in the Salem Historical Society's Dale Shaffer Research Library Meeting Room, 239 S. Lundy Ave. Parking is available in the municipal lot across Lundy. The building is handicapped accessible. There is no charge for this event.
This is not a jam like many people are used to, but rather a performance song circle (with some extra audience), so when it is someone's turn in the circle, they can perform solo or with an ensemble, lead a sing-along of a familiar song, request that someone else perform a song which they have been known to perform on previous occasions or just come and listen (and sing along if so choosing).
Guests are welcome to attend without giving any previous notice, but those who have any questions or to give notice of performing or attending the song circle can contact Bill Schilling for Dulci-More at bill@dulcimore.org at 234-564-3852.
