Choose to Lose Group
Choose To Lose Group met at Boyce Church on Nov. 21 with leader Penny Perorazio presiding. The meeting opened up with the pledge of allegiance followed by the CTLG roll call. Fouse gave the secretary report and Cassie Stephens gave the treasure report. Both were approved as read.
Jerry Kontnier was the Pearl's biggest loser. Jean Ferrebee was the Diamonds biggest loser. Stephens was the officer biggest loser. Diamonds in leeway are Dottie Seevers, Jean Ferrebee and Stephens. Stephens had ten weight loss slips.
The no no's are chocolate and cake.
Seevers won the calorie charts, Stephens won the dimes and Wanda Price won the 50/50.
Winners of the No Fibbing Contest are Stephens, Fouse, Ferrebee, Pat Heacock, Sally B, and Price. New numbers were drawn for next week #7.
Stephens read an article on Are You Addicted To Junk Foods.
Leader Perorazio closed the meeting with prayer requests followed by the Lord's Prayer. New and former members are always welcome on Tuesdays at 10 a.m.
TOPS 1341
Tops Chapter 1341 met Monday, Nov. 20, at the Glenmoor Presbyterian Church with Leader Darlene Naukam presiding. Judy McComas was the Best Loser and Dorothy Garn was the Runner Up. They chose ice cream and hot dogs as this week's Junk Food.
Drawing Winners: Marlene Reynolds for Calorie Chart, Weight Loss and 50/50; Lydia Kraft – Junk Food; Dena White - Jackpot; 3 Times in the Best Loser's Book and 8 weeks in the Attendance Book was Judy McComas.
Brenda Miller had the program, discussing and reading an article from the most recent copy of TOPS Magazine entitled Understanding and Treating Depression.
The meeting ended with concerns and The Lord's Prayer.

Holiday art show
Local artists will be holding a holiday art show and sale inside The Carriage House, 509 Broadway, East Liverpool, from 3 to 5:30 p.m. Dec. 2. Free to the public, refreshments will be served.
EL Carnegie Public Library hours
The East Liverpool Carnegie Public Library will close at 3 p.m. today and then be closed for Thanksgiving Thursday through Sunday. Regular hours and programs will resume Monday.
