East Liverpool trash collection
Trash will be collected from East Liverpool residences Friday as the refuse and recycling department employees are scheduled to work on Veterans Day. Residents whose trash is normally collected on Friday are asked to have their trash set out at the curb for pick up as usual. Trash service on any of the city routes will not be affected by the national holiday.
TQGIBT meeting
That Quilt Group I Belong To (TQGIBT for short) will meet at 7 p.m. Nov. 21 in the Rotary Building at Fair Park on Oak Street in Canfield. Members should return their completed Christmas stockings at the November meeting so that they can be delivered to Salvation Army. Members are also reminded to make their reservation by Dec. 1 for the group's Christmas dinner Dec. 19. Two new "Quilter's Playtime" blocks will be demonstrated as part of this month's program.
