Camp in a Box Winter Survival
Wellsville Carnegie Public Library is hosting Camp in a Box Winter Survival, a five-session program at 11 a.m. the first Saturday of each month. The program includes videos, projects and experiments for grades kindergarten and up. Registration is required at 330-532-1526.
Craft and vendor show
A craft and vendor show will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at First Free Methodist Church, 16260 St. Clair Ave., East Liverpool. The kitchen will be open all day. Various crafts and vendors will be set up for shopping pleasure.
TOPS 1341
GLENMOOR - Tops 1341 met at the Glenmoor Presbyterian Church Monday with Darlene Naukem, leader, presiding. The best loser was Marlene Reynolds and the runner up was Naukem. The junk food for the coming week is cookies and no more than two slices of bread per day.
The drawing winners were: Pat Allison 50/50 and weight loss, Dorothy Garn calorie chart, Lydia Kraft junk food, and Cathy Wollam jackpot drawing.
Chris Plunkett retained the travel box for the third week. All members went back on the check this week.
The upcoming Christmas celebration will be held on Monday, Dec. 4, at EJ's Restaurant in Chester. The members were encouraged to pay the dinner cost to treasurer, Cathy Wollam.
Following the meeting, members participated in 20 minutes of exercise, led by Garn and Reynolds.
The meeting opened with pledges and closed with concerns and The Lord's Prayer.
The meetings are held on Mondays (excluding holidays), with weigh in at 1:15 p.m. and the meeting to follow at 2 p.m. For further information regarding meetings, call 330-424-5027.
Free Thanksgiving dinner
Wellsville Elks will be holding a free Thanksgiving dinner from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 19. All are welcome.
