TOPS 1957
WELLSVILLE -- Tops 1957 of Wellsville met Oct. 10 at the Living Well Church with leader Mary Jarvis opening the meeting with Pledges, roll call and then Mary Schmidt led the group in prayer.
Tops best loser was Brenda Young and she also wore the officers ribbon. Alice Eckstein won the dimes and Barb Q won the 50/50 drawing. Pegged Kiddey won the inchworm and will receive two weeks paid.
Peggy K was the monthly best loser.
Jami Spring received a gift for getting the first touchdown in the football game.
Barb M gave the treasure's report and Young read the minutes - both were approved as read.
The white elephant sale is going to be Oct. 24 and the painting will be in November.
Barb Tranter read a funny story and then Jarvis closed the meeting wishing all a good week.
CCVSC closure
The Columbiana County Veterans Service Commission will be closed Monday.
Boil advisory
There is a boil advisory for the following locations: West Point, state Route 518, state Route 45 from state Route 518 to the Columbiana County Career and Techinical Center, Buckeye Road and anyone else that experienced no water pressure in the area. This is due to a water main break.
