'Young at Heart' at
Long's Run Trinity Church
Pastor Ian Leyda and the congregation of Long's Run Trinity Church, 15851 Long's Church Road, East Liverpool (Calcutta), invite all area seniors to "Young at Heart," a new program where participants can enjoy time together playing games or cards, sharing stories and being with friends. Snacks are provided. There is no charge for the program. The church is handicap accessible. The group meets the second and fourth Thursday of the month from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. The next "Young at Heart" on Thursday will feature a flower arranging demonstration by Pam Shaffer, with one lucky attendee going home with a beautiful floral arrangement.
ELHS spaghetti dinner fundraiser for cheerleader
A spaghetti dinner fundraiser will be held Saturday for East Liverpool High School cheerleader Julianna Burkett, who has the opportunity to travel to the Citrus Bowl in Florida as an All-American cheerleader. The dinner will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Wellsville. Dinner includes spaghetti, salad, garlic roll and dessert for $10.
