Walker Music Series begins Friday at MOC

EAST LIVERPOOL -- The Walker Music Series begins with hometown favorites Doug and Dave Smith at 6:30 p.m. Friday at the Museum of Ceramics.
This series was formerly known as Music @theMoC. Museum Director Susan Weaver recently announced that the name would be changed to honor Bob Walker. "Bob and I started Library Jam when I was library director at Kent State, East Liverpool. When I came to the museum, he convinced me that the museum should continue the program." Walker was an active supporter of local music and was an accomplished performer as well.
Doug and Dave Smith played at the first Library Jam and are now the first performers in the Walker Music Series. Doug plays keyboard and both brothers sing and play guitar. Their soft rock sound makes for a nice evening in a coffee house-like setting. There is no admission fee, but donations are appreciated.
