Friends of Beaver Creek State Park present Bigfoot event

EAST LIVERPOOL -- The Friends of Beaver Creek State Park are presenting their annual Bigfoot event beginning with free camping at the park on today and Saturday night. Camp setup starts at 11 a.m. today in group camp #3 located in the Gretchen Lock area off Sprucevale Road. Campers are responsible for bringing their own camping equipment and supplies including food. Researcher Jack Warren will be at the campsite. Be prepared to exchange some great stories.
On Sunday from 8 a.m. to noon there will be a pancake breakfast at the barn in Pioneer Village. The menu includes buttermilk and corn pancakes, sausage, grits, juice and coffee. The cost is $8 for adults and $4 for children 6 and under.
There will be speakers on Bigfoot in the barn beginning at noon Sunday with a program hosted by Warren. The event is free with the purchase of a pancake breakfast. The speakers include Doug Waller, author of five books and researcher on Bigfoot sightings for 15 years; Les O'Dell, a researcher and founder of West Virginia Cryptids and Strange Encounters; Jay Fouch, co-founder of the Coshocton County Bigfoot Research; David Wolf, producer of Exposing the Strange Hudson; Johnny Freeman, Ernie Davieau and boots on the ground researchers and investigators.
There will also be numerous vendors in the village. Anyone interested in becoming a vendor should contact Cindy at 330-853-9960.
