ELHS Alumni Association holds its Olde Guard Luncheon

EAST LIVERPOOL - East Liverpool High School Alumni Association Friday hosted its Olde Guard Luncheon at East Liverpool High School. A total of 177 Potter alumni (and their guests) returned to 100 Maine Blvd. for their annual reunion luncheon. Potter alumni from the ELHS Classes 1942 through ELHS Class of 1962 were in attendance.

Congratulations to Mary Ann Pusateri Wright (ELHS Class of 1949) and William Plummer (ELHS Class of 1952) who were named Queen and King of the 2023 East Liverpool High School Alumni Association Olde Guard Luncheon. Eva Auerbach Smith was recognized as oldest alumi in attendance. She is from the ELHS Class of 1942 and is 99 years young.

Guests were treated to musical entertainment by Bill Crawford (ELHS Class of 1981) who sang songs such as Hey Good Lookin', Softly and Tenderly, Jesus is Calling and Sentimental Journey.

Special thanks to: Nancy McKeenan Evans (Class of 1983), luncheon chairperson; ELHSAA president Drew Cooper who welcomed the group along with opening remarks from Jennifer Shockey Molish (ELHSAA Director of Alumni Relations) while Frank Dawson led the crowd in the ELHS Alma Mater; current ELHS students who helped serve food and the ELHS football players whp helped valet cars; Jan Toot (Class of 1976) for the balloon decor, Fiesta Tableware Company for the favors, L&B Donuts and Catering for the meal, Keystone Printing for the booklet covers, The Carriage House for the corsage and boutonniere and countless volunteers that helped with setup and cleanup.

Next year's luncheon will take place Wednesday, June 26, at noon
