EL Library adds Mobile Hotspots
The Carnegie Public Library in East Liverpool has added more Mobile Hotspots for patron use. Adult patrons will be able to use their library cards in good standing to check out Hotspots for two weeks at a time with a limit of one per household. The Hotspots allow the users to connect phones, laptops, tablets and other devices to the internet. If patrons don't have a device at home, the library offers public use computers and Wi-Fi during open hours as well as printing from their phone.
Thompson Park recognizes Betsy Wells
The Thompson Park Board will recognize Betsy Wells for her service to the park at 10 a.m. Saturday. Weather permitting, the event will take place on the upper loop near the main entrance. In case of inclement weather, the event will be held in the large pavilion by the tennis courts.
Tops 1957
Tops 1957 of Wellsville met July 18 at the Living Well Church with leader Donna Lee opening the meeting with pledges, roll call and then Connie Hissam led the group in prayer.
Tops best loser was Peggy Imburgia and she also wore the officers ribbon. Hissam won the 50/50 drawing and Imburgia won the dimes. Imburgia also had three weeks with no gains.
The Nono was all sweets.
The picnic is in two weeks.
