The New Cumberland Lions Club will host their next Pulled Pork Takeout from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. July 1 in the parking lot of the Swaney Memorial Library in New Cumberland. A pulled pork sandwich - with the pulled pork provided by Hale's High Street Kitchen at Franco's - will be $7. Sides offered will be potato salad and baked beans for $1 each. Bottled water and soda will be available for $1. Dates for the remainder of the summer are July 29 and Aug. 26 in the Swaney Memorial Library parking lot with the final pulled pork event for the summer of 2023 held at at the Riverfest, Sept. 23 and 24 on River Avenue in New Cumberland. All proceeds are used to fund Lions Club projects.
