Church baked steak dinner
Yellow Creek Church, on state Route 45 in Wellsville, will host a baked steak dinner from 4 to 6:30 p.m. June 14. The menu will include baked steak, mashed potatoes, gravy, cole slaw, green beans and dessert. Cost is $9 for adults. Sit down or carry out available. To place an order call 330-532-2000.
Everyone's Welcome Church VBS
Everyone's Welcome Church, 2 E. Main St., Salineville will be holding Vacation Bible School from 6 to 8 p.m. June 13 to June 16. Grades kindergarten through six are welcome. Registration will be held from 5:30 to 6 p.m. June 13. Kids will enjoy dinner, music, crafts, recreation and a Bible lesson each day. For information call 330-205-4059.
TOPS 1341
Tops 1341 met Monday at the Glenmoor Presbyterian Church with Leader Darlene Naukam presiding. Weigh-ins were followed by pledges and the roll call.
The Best Loser was Dorothy Garn and the Runner Up was Cassie Ensinger.
Drawing winners were: Calorie Chart - Naukam; Weight Loss – Brenda Miller; Junk Food – Lydia Kraft; 50/50 – Dena White; 3 Times in The Best Loser's Book – Cassie Ensinger; Attendance Book – Dorothy Garn for 40 weeks. Kraft won the Travel Box and returning from vacation without a gain was Naukam and Judy McComas.
April and May Calorie Chart winner was Naukam. Exercise Chart winner for May was Kandi Kraft.
Best Loser for May was Kandi Kraft. Lydia Kraft was Runner Up.
