Annual rummage sale
The First Christian Church CWF will be holding its annual Rummage Sale and Bake Sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. This year the sale will be held in the Center at Wellsville First Christian Church.
Annual Summer Fun Fly
Columbiana County Centaur RC Club will host its Annual Summer Fun Fly from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at 8473 County Home Road, Lisbon. Pilots will need AMA; spectators are welcome. The event will include a 50/50 raffle and prizes.
Choose to Lose Group
Choose To Lose Group met at Boyce Church Tuesday with Leader Penny Perorazio presiding.
The meeting opened up with the Pledge of Allegiance followed by the CTLG roll call. Cassy Stephens gave the secretary and treasurer's report. Both were approved as read.
Jerry Kontnier was the Pearl's biggest loser. Diamonds in leeway are Jean Ferrebee and Dottie Seevers. Stephens won the calorie charts and dimes. Ferrebee won the 50/50. Winners of the No Fibbing Contest were Kontnier and Stephens.
The no-no's are chocolate.
Seevers read an article on "Bariatric Surgery and Visceral Fat."
Perorazio closed the meeting with prayer request followed by the Lord's Prayer.
New and former members are always welcome on Tuesdays at 11 a.m.
