The New Cumberland Lions Club will kick off the summer Pulled Pork Takeout fundraiser with the first event scheduled for Saturday, May 27, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the parking lot of the Swaney Memorial Library in New Cumberland. A pulled pork sandwich - with the pulled pork provided by Hale's High Street Kitchen at Franco's - will be $7. Sides offered will be potato salad and baked beans at $1 each. Patrons may add one side or both to make a meal. Bottled water and soda will be available for $1. All proceeds are used to fund club projects.
