SL Schools concert at Kiwanis Park
Bands from Southern Local Schools will present the annual Concert in the Park at 2 p.m. Sunday at Kiwanis Park in Salineville. Band Director Emily Forbes Bowling said the free event includes about 65 musicians in grades 5-12 who will perform a variety of tunes from the concert band's repertoire. Guests are invited to bring lawn chairs to enjoy the show.

Ohio Tops Chapter 1341 met Monday at the Glenmoor Presbyterian Church with Leader Darlene Naukam presiding.
This week's Best Loser was Marlene Reynolds and Cassie Ensinger was the Runner-up. Reynolds and Ensinger were also 3 times in the Best Loser's Book.
Drawing Winners: Calorie Chart – Darlene Naukam; Weight Loss – Dorothy Garn; Junk Food and Travel Box for week 3 – Mary Gailey; 50/50 Drawing – Reynolds.
Gailey read the secretary's report and Cathy Wollam gave the treasurer's report for April. Naukam gave the weight loss statistics for April. Ensinger and Gailey were the Best Loser and Runner-up for April, respectively. Gailey also won April's Exercise Contest.
Naukam led members through several exercises and stretches while both sitting and standing. The meeting concluded with The Lord's Prayer. For meeting information call 330-386-0151.
