TOPS 1341
TOPS 1341 met Monday at the Glenmoor Presbyterian Church with Leader Darlene Naukam presiding.
The Best Loser was Judy McComas and Runner-Up was Cathy Wollam. Drawing winners were Calorie Chart and Weight Loss – Mary Gailey; Junk Food – Dorothy Garn; Returning from vacation without a gain – Cassie Ensinger; 50/50 – Dena White. The Travel Box is held by Gailey for week 1.
Monday was Tops Recognition Day and Merit Certificates were awarded to Division 4 members Kandice Kraft (first place) and Lydia Kraft (runner up).
The meeting concluded with The Lord's Prayer.

TOPS 1957
Tops 1957 from Wellsville met April 11 at the Living Well Church with leader Donna Lee opening the meeting with pledges and roll call, then Barb Q. led the group in prayer.
Tops best loser was Betty Pease and Brenda Young wore the officer's ribbon. Nancy Hart won the dimes and Barb M. won the 50/50 drawing. The inchworm was Peggy Imburgia.
The Nono is potato chips.
A birthday card shower was for held for Alice Eckstein.
The contest is continuing and Mary Jarvis said for the next week's meeting to lose a quarter pound, exercise for 10 minutes each day and to maintain or lose for three weeks in a row and get three puzzle pieces.
Barb M. gave the treasurer's report and Young read the minutes. Both were approved as read. Barb Tranter read a funny story and Lee closed the meeting wishing all a good week.
CTLG meeting
Choose To Lose Group (CTLG) met at Boyce Church Tuesday with co- leader Dottie Seevers presiding. The meeting opened up with the pledge of allegiance followed by the CTLG roll call.
Pam Fouse gave the secretary report and Cassie Stephens gave the treasurer's report. Both were approved as read.
CTL biggest loser was Penny Perorazio. The officer biggest loser was Fouse.
Jo Ann Beresford won the calorie charts and the 50/50. Perorazio won the dimes. The no no's are cookies and ice cream.
Choose To Lose that are in leeway are Seevers and Beresford. Winner of the No Fibbing Contest is Fouse.
Celebration of Beresford's birthday was held at JP's Pizzeria & Grill.
Seevers closed the meeting with Prayer requests followed by the Lord's prayer. New and former members are always welcome on Tuesdays at 11 a.m.
Emergency tree removal
Middleton Township will be having an emergency tree removal Friday on Pancake Clarkson Road. The road will be closed between Fredericktown Clarkson and Yeager roads for an indefinite period of time starting at 8 a.m.
Business entrepreneurship
High School students across Ohio have a limited window to apply for participation in the annual Ohio Business Week entrepreneurship camp which will be held June 18-23 at Bowling Green State University. Deadline to apply is May 1. Ohio Business Week creates a hands-on experiential environment to educate, empower and encourage a diverse population of high school students to recognize and achieve their potential. Business leaders, educators, high school students and community volunteers teach and inspire one another to be responsible employees, employers and citizens. Ohio Business Week places up to 200 high school students in a dynamic simulation where they compete as industry professionals, sharpen communication skills, and face real-world challenges. With the guidance of a volunteer mentor from the business community, students gain a competitive edge in college preparation, workplace readiness, and overall life success. This is the premier summer experience for current high school students to ignite their potential. Students undertake hands-on projects providing them the opportunity to operate a business and create a new product or service complete with a business plan, financials, marketing materials, a website and a commercial. Masons spaghetti dinner
Salineville Masonic Lodge #348, 610 Jefferson St., is having an open house/spaghetti dinner from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday. The cost is by donation; all proceeds are going for a new roof on the lodge.
