Hikers will take to Hellbender
The Columbiana County Park District will hold a spring hike at noon Saturday starting at Hellbender Bluff Park's Lones Road entrance (GPS coordinates are 40.70836,-80.64789). Geologist and wild flower expert Cheryl Mattevi, mycologist Walt Sturgeon and park lore expert Mike West will lead the hike, which will focus on spring flowers, migrating birds and mushrooms.
