EAST LIVERPOOL — Alfred Todd has been chosen as Scholar of the Month for February at East Liverpool High School. He has a 3.605 GPA and currently ranks #20 in his class. He takes Advanced Placement and College Credit Plus classes.
He is a member of the National Honor Society, ELHS Marching Band, Concert Band, Lab Band, and Pep Band, serving as Band president. He was chosen for All-County Honors Band for 3 years, Stambaugh Youth Concert Band (2 years, Principal Trumpet), the Youngstown Symphony Youth Orchestra, and the YSU Side by Side High School Honors Wind Ensemble. In addition, he is a member of the ELHS Thespians, serving as President for two years, and a four-year member of the varsity bowling team, receiving the bowling Academic Award for three years. Alfred was also a member of the Buckeye 8 championship bowling team. He was also a delegate to Buckeye Boys’ State and a cast member in plays and musicals at ELHS.
He has donated his time at Bill Hogue Kidney Transplant fundraisers, the Counseling Center, and helping friends, neighbors, and family any time there is a need.
He plans to attend Youngstown State University and double major in Music Education and Music Performance.
