Commissioners mark retirement of longtime EMA associate

LISBON - Rudy Sacchet, 65, recently retired after 25 years as the state radiological analyst assigned to the Columbiana County Emergency Management Agency.During his time, Sacchett conducted more than 1,300 training sessions involving more than 3,500 first responders. In addition to his day job, Sacchet also served on the county's 911 advisory committee from its inception 17 years ago and is a 39-year member of the Negley Fire Department.County commissioners recently adopted a proclamation marking his achievements and retirement
