EAST LIVERPOOL — The year 2020 was a rough one to be in the personal care business, but an east end salon has come out on the other side.

Not only has Bombshell beauty salon survived COVID, but they are looking to open a second location in downtown Wellsville this spring.

It gives owner Shayne Beagle the opportunity to return to her roots of sorts.

She first opened her salon there on March 25, 2015, before moving it to the east end of East Liverpool. However, with a growing customer base, Beagle decided it was time to add a Wellsville location.

In addition to offering hair, waxing and makeup services, patrons also can access tanning and eyelash extensions through the Bombshell on Main location, which is located at 443 Main St.

Also near the front of the Wellsville salon is a display of their entire clothing line. In addition to plenty of branded T-shirts, Beagle said that plenty of other items like tank tops, leggings and shorts also are available.

Bombshell will be welcoming potential clients to an open house for the Wellsville location from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, March 25.

Drinks and light refreshments will be served, and people can walk though the new digs.

Presale tanning packages and gift cards also will be available for purchase.

Keeping the personal and intimate feel at Bombshell was at the first and foremost of Beagle’s mind; therefore, she elected to add a second quaint location instead of just a bigger and more sprawling location.

Some of Bombshell’s success can be attributed to be on how they serve their clientele. “You have to care how your client feels when they leave,” Beagle concluded. ” I am thankful that Bombshell is in the position today to expand.”
