SRMC Foundation to Host Garden Party Fundraiser

SALEM — The Salem Regional Medical Center (SRMC) Foundation is sponsoring a summer Garden Party fundraiser to be held from 5-7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 18 at the home of Dave and Kathy Gano, Salem. Public welcome. Shuttle service will be provided via a trolley from Salem High School’s parking lot to the Gano home on Highland Avenue. Tickets are $50 per guest, and may be reserved by contacting Amy Reed 330-337-2883 or RSVPs must be received by August 10.

Attendees can tour the Gano gardens and carriage house. Complimentary hors d’oeuvres and specialty drinks served. Live entertainment provided. The Gano’s master gardener will be available at the event to answer questions about the plants and growing techniques used in the gardens.

“Proceeds will be donated toward the SRMC Foundation’s fundraising goal to help support the purchase of a new 3-D PET/CT Scanner to be installed in the Fall,” she continued. “This technology will significantly expand the Hospital’s ability to advance excellence in the care of patients; especially those seeking diagnosis or treatment of cancer, Alzheimer’s disease or other conditions related to brain function.”
