EAST LIVERPOOL -- Ron Mott, a news correspondent with MSNBC, recently visited the East Liverpool Community Health Center to discuss the Affordable Health Care Act.
Drs. Jill Hendrickson and Joseph Sitarik spoke on the issue, addressing the number of patients at CAA Health, Behavioral Health and Dental Centers who rely on Affordable Health Care options to receive services. The doctors said that without insurances through the Marketplace or Medicaid, many would not be able to afford to receive substance abuse treatment through the Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) program.
A patient spoke on the issue as well, expressing that he would not be a member of the MAT program without Affordable Health Care.
